What do you like? I am in a Chevy Family, and we have a 97 C-2500 Cheyenne with 305 and AT and the Cheyenne trim |

Wow. |
Nice. |
Well I've owned 2 Dakotas 94&2000 318 V8 4x4 x-cab and they both were pieces of shit. Don't get me wrong they looked good and ran like a scalded dog but the engines would'nt last. My last one I put 3 engines in, Then the tranny went 112,000miles sent the mother back. Now my 95 1500RAM 4x4 318 all bells and whistles. I've got 228,000 miles on it. Replaced the tranny at 176,000miles. This has been one hell of a truck. I put this truck through mortal hell. I will probally get a Ford for my next truck. The new Dodges look like shit...Damn they fucked a beautiful truck even if they did put HEMI's in them. I can honestly say DO NOT BUY A DAKOTA!!! |
or just don't get a dodge. My family has had problems with two Chrysler cars. One was an '80's Plymouth Reliant wagon and an '87 Dodge Aries K. |
ummm, there are 3 auto companies -GM -Ford -Daimler Chrysler The bottom two have horrid resale value. |
| I would have to say I am most happy with my F-150. I had a tundra and it was a total piece of crap. No guts, constant problems with the brakes (thing went through rotors like crazy), and poor gas milage for the size/engine. My Ford gets better milage, is more reliable, and can actually tow something. |

Ford, at least at the moment. I am picking up my new F250 (2005 supercab 4wd, V10, auto.) tomorrow. (Yes, I will post picts as soon as I can on GD and the Mo. hometown forums) I have a dodge dakota (1999, 318 magnum, 2wd, shortbed std cab)at the moment and it has done me quite well. I also still have my jeep (1994 wrangler, 4.0ltr, 5spd manual) and it has held pretty darn well considering how much I have abused it. Never had a chevy truck, had an old IH scout, beat to hell but I loved that old rust bucket. |
That's true. I've never looked at it that way. Still though, I'd like to see Toyota try. I pretty damn sure I would buy a desiel Toyota (or at least want one). |

I have had Ford and Chevy pickups for the past 20 years. I wanted something different so I got a Nissan Titan LE. So far I like it and everyone who rides in the back seat can't believe how much room there is. I get about 15 MPG average with 30% City and 70% Highway (70 mph) driving. |
