How about posts of guns that were made, or originated before, say, 1935?

Or gun dogs working in the field - that would be cool.

some agate knives -

Those knives are pretty neat.  What's the story behind them?

Here's another view that shows the carving a little better

These blades are Brazilian agate.  The large knife won first place in a show a few years back.  I wish I could take credit, but these are made by a man that lives near Hannibal, Missouri named Tim Murphy.  He makes all of his stone work with traditional tools, no metallic or other aids are used.  The grips on these are all Whitetail antlers.  Tim and only one other "flint knapper" whose work I've seen make stone tools that compare with the craftsmanship of originals, which we have plenty of still in the ground in Missouri.

Tim also makes flint and obsidian blades and arrow points that can be used in the field and he has killed and butchered several deer with them.  These agate blades are sharp, but a little fragile; the "usin'" knives are thicker.

Thanks for sharing, they are very interesting.  I'd come up with a better story however!  You know while wrestling with a Grizzly Bear, I reached down, grabbed a tree root...........
