Hot or Cold?

The only thing better than good hot fried chicken is then next day's leftovers right out of the fridge.

I love it cold. Cold pizza is great, too!

Both.

Doesn't matter to me, I'll take it either way and enjoy it equally.

Although....all the supermarkets here have the rotisserie chicken for like $4.99 and it's quick, cheap and better for ya. We usually do it once a week.

Chicken has to be hot.  Pizza is best cold though.

I vote for both as well.
Cold, hot makes no difference, they're both good.

Both!

But I've never put hot freshly fried chicken into the refrigerator, saying, 'It'll taste better cold, tomorrow!'

Eating it cold is only for leftovers.

And no one fries chicken better than your mother!

Hot.  Popeye's Spicy Chicken, fresh from the oil, in New Orleans, is one of the greatest foods known to man.

I like hot to room-temp.  I'll eat it cold, but if there's a microwave around, I'll nuke it for a few seconds.

Pan-fried chicken is better than deep-fried, IMO.

room temp is the way to roll for fried chicken AND pizza.

Hot fried chicken, fried in lard.  If you've never eaten chicken or fish fried in lard you have never experienced the best.  I know it's supposed to be bad for you.

All the old timers ate that kind of stuff all their lives and many lived into their 80s+.

Don't like fried chicken.

But before you deport me, I DO like cold pizza.

I like to let it cool for about 15 minutes right after it is cooked, also leftover chicken the next day at room temperature tastes good after it's been in your lunch bag for a few hours. I dont like cold chicken right out of the refridgerater, I usually let it get to room temp before eating.

That's what inspired this thread.

One of the guys at work came in this morning complaining that he had fried chicken for lunch and he hates fried chicken, hot or cold. I told him I would take it if he didn't want it. He told me if it was in the fridge tonight when I came in I could have it.

I could have free, homemade cold fried chicken for lunch tonight.
