[ARCHIVED THREAD] - I need MSN MESSENGER help

When ever I try to log in the two people spin arond for like 3 seconds. Then its back to the "Sign In" screen.

I will uninstall it and clean the registry. Then Re-Install it. All will be working great for a couple of days then it will quit working.

Software Firewall says all is OK...

I had the same problem. Then the HD failed (not at falt of it) and it went away when I reinstalled the OS.

Try www.trillian.cc
Free program that connects to AIM, Y! MSN, ICQ, ETC.
Installing that will bypass the boogered up MSN files. If your account works, then reinstall your OS...If Trillian cannot connect, then suspect your connection/firewall/router/account...

That is intresting....

If your thinking a virus caused the HD to fail I didn't. It was 3 y/o and was having write failiers.
