Im currently at my folks house and their computer has so much extra shit running in the background its really hurting performance. What is the command that you type in the "run"  line that shows all the programs and lets you stop them form starting up when you turn the computer on? Something liek msfconfig or something like that.
What should be the basics to keep running upon startup?

What if you try to run msconfig and you get a popup that says that it cannot find the file?

I clicked start, then the "run" option and typed msconfig to get the error message.

Double check, but you probably have spyware that is screwing it up
