WTF is with people all of a sudden going ape shit now thay the ban is over? Sometimes I feel the media intentionaly did not report other stories as they normally would have until the ban ended.

I dont think this is really an all of a sudden thing, but they are now more eager to report it now.

Is there ever such a thing as a "low-powered" gun to the media?

Well, if this is true (and it isn't), it's the 2nd occurance of a NFA item being used in a shooting.

True.  7.62x39 is not "high powered" IMO.

I suppose that if I have a, say .38 special and I have the barrel stuffed into your mouth that that makes me 'lightly armed'?

One of my pet piss me offs is 'a heavily armed gunman did this or that'

Sorta like the ad that proclaims 'Live Nude dancers". WTF! I suppose that 3 blocks down the street the club there is going to advertise 'DEAD nude dancers'????

If you have a gun, you're heavily armed.

Period.

These kind of things have always been with us, just that you didn't hear about it because the news media more or less only reports stuff in and around the state that you live in. It's got to be real earth shattering sometimes for the them to report it. But since we got the internet, we can read just about any local newspaper in the USA worth its salt on-line.

Was that the Dayton Oh shooting?  If so I was told it was his own NFA firearm.  M-11 I think.  Could always have been told wrong.
