I normally sight in my scoped AR's at 100 yards.
Don't know why-just always do.
Given that I am shooting a 16 inch barrel with 1 in 9 twist using 55 gr ammo. If I am sighted in at 100 yards:
Where can I expect the point of impact to be at 100 yards? 200? 300?

You really ought to know this and the best way is to take your rifle out and see where it shoots. Here's what the computer says based on a 55 grain bullet leaving your barrel at 3240 ft/sec and zeroed at 100 yards.

50=-0.1"
100=0.0
150=-1.2
200=-4.1
250=-9.0
300=16.5
350=-27.0
400=-41.4
