Always end up buying twice as much stuff as I intended.

Went there for a few shotgun parts, ended up with some AR parts and tools too.

Damn C&R discount!

Know the feeling.  I went to buy all the lower parts minus the trigger and pistol grip, I end up also  buying a RRA M-4 buttstock for an additional $60.

Gotta love the discounts with the C&R.

At least we save enough money there to pay off the C&R.  I even buy stuff for rifles and projects I plan on having.

True, their prices aren't always the best, even with the discount, BUT you can't beat one stop shopping.  It evens out when you add in shipping costs.

When you factor in Brownells extremely cheap shipping  & the SHOT show coupon their "dealer" pricing is almost always cheaper than the EE Dealers.

AR-15/M16 HIGH CAPACITY MAGAZINES
$17.95 for everyone else
$12.50 with an FFL (or C&R) when I log in online

You can also tell by the codes posted for each item in their printed catalog. In this case:
2W12E50 listed as a code before the price would mean the discounted price would be 12.50

Depends on the product, some products its pretty hefty, some next to none.

MidwayUSA also gives discounts, you can pick up a ACE SOCOM for $127.

Whenever I need anything from Brownells, I always go through the entire catalog to see if there’s anything else I want - and there always is!  Thus I can genuinely need a $20 item but ultimately put in a $200 order!!

I tell myself this is cheaper than ordering the other things when I really need them since I’m saving on postage for the later order.

Actually, there is no discount at all on some of their items – in particular many of their gunsmithing tools.
