Got this from newsmax.......it only gets better..........

Democrats' Civil War: Clintons vs. Kennedy

The apparent selection of Howard Dean as chairman of the Democratic Party indicates the party does not want to learn from its ways. That's good news for Republicans.

The Dean ascension also indicates that when it comes to grassroots Democrats, it's the liberalism of Dean, Kerry and Ted Kennedy that still holds sway among party cadres.

For some time, NewsMax has reported that Hillary Clinton has long had her guns set on Dean. During the bitter primary campaign last year, we noted that a source close to Dean's mother blamed Hillary and Bill for all of her son's campaign woes.

Now it is no longer an open secret that Hillary dislikes Dean.

But it is clear that a larger civil war has long been under way in the Democratic Party that ironically has pitted Hillary and Bill as the "moderates" against Dean and his faction -- which is still controlled by the Kennedy-Kerry circle.

Kennedy's recent bellicose speech to the National Press Club spit in the face of moderation and said the party should stick to its core positions: pacifism, higher taxes, more abortion rights, more gay rights, etc.

The reasoning for this positioning is that the Kennedy faction does not believe the Democrats have lost elections because of their liberal views.

They believe that the 2004 election was lost solely on national security and the "war on terror."

An associate of Kennedy recently told NewsMax the view is simple: "Stand firm, and the Iraq war will turn into such a disaster, the Democrats will win big in 2006." The source added, "The Democrats won't have to do a thing but remain opposed to the war."

The war and growing body count will feed angst, the source said, among the right wing, who will soon demand an end to the war.

Perhaps so. But the recent relatively calm elections in Iraq suggest the insurgency may be abating rather than increasing.

I have been talking among some democrats online and they seem very nervous about Dean. They too sense that the party may well become very divided.

That means good things for us!

Sean Hannity stated some time back that "converting" Hilary to a moderate would be the greatest makeover job in American Political History.  And it has started, but with Dean at the helm of the DNC, how much more ignorant can they get.  The factions running the DNC just want to force their liberal politics on the Amercian people, and we vote time and time against it.

More Schadenfraude?

Personally I don't think the Dems are dead yet. The US has many moderates who vote just based on the candidate.
Kerry was a bad candidate, pompous, flip flopper.

If the Dems get a red state governor w/ charisma next time who has a good rating from the NRA, everything could change.

Kerry did recieve 47% of the vote. The Democrats are not dead and I think that they will win the presidency after Bush's next term.

Kennedy is giving hope to the insurgents that if they maintain their war, they can cause political surrender here at home and eventually order a withdrawal.  And for what?  So his party can capitalize on American defeat.  The Democrats are such petty scumbags.  They've put themselves into a position of what's bad for the United States is good for their party.

I agree Hitlery is un-electable but if she runs... a black woman is more un-electable. Nevermind that Condi is worthy of the office.
The big problem is we have no "name" guy to run for us.

I'd go for Larry Craig myself.

I say we start an organization for communists, socialists, etc. (or just DU members) to vote for the demoncrap candidate in the next election. The morning of the elections, we rally everyone together in a warehouse for a final pep rally before going off to vote.

Once they're all inside, we chain the doors shut and park large trucks in front of all doors and windows and don't let the idiots out until the elections are over and they can't do any more harm to the country.

You know they'd do it to us if they could.

Which brings us to a very interesting point that might be worth considering,,,,,,,,,,,

With the libs so desperate to regain power,,,maybe these three stooges and the clintons are pulling the all time greatest GOOD COP BAD COP scam in history?????????

You just said they make anyone look good,,,including the clintons,,,,at least to a lot of moderates or uninformed sheeple.

Just something to keep in mind.

it is fun to watch the demos collapse into a shell of their former influence, but I fear that without real opposition the republican party will get soft. I want the RNC leadership to know that we are first a conservative people and second, republican. I dont want to see the repubs take a more moderate stance.  I am for smaller .gov I am not sorry I voted for GWB, but he has to take a stand on illegals, and quit ballooning the damn .gov at every turn. I want less gov and more individualism, that is America, not the nanny state.

When considering the left in this country, never underestimate them.

I'm sure some of the LEO's on the board are aware of multiplying factor crowds have on stupid behavior. Get enough idiots together and the level of stupidity and violence they can achieve is vitrually unlimited. The same goes with liberals. Why is it they only thrive in the heavily populated areas?
