Anyone know of any places to apply and work for doing data entry from home? I need something to make a little $$ and to take up time in the dorm but all I can find online are scams and sites to purchase information. Anyone know of any legitimate place?

Sounds good to me too, may as well get paid for sitting here.

I'm not sure about Data Entry but medical recorders are in high demand.  Not sure if its something you're interested in or not but it's something you can do from home and deduct as a home office.

Data entry is a dead field. Medical coder/transcriptionist is probably more viable.

Fair enough. Any ideas where to go for that?

I have a girlfriend that put together a resume, a price list [got all the necessary equipment] and just went to doctor offices and solicited work.  She said about 30% were interested and of those 30% she got work from about 1/2.
