I managed to make a batch of mashed potatoes, from scratch mind you, that ended up being fluffy, creamy, and slightly lumpy all at the same time. it was quite good no pics availible due to lack of a digital camera at my disposal that is all carry on men. |
One of the weekly highlights at my high school is that on Tuesdays the home economics students sell baked potatoes with all the trimmings. I asked for everything but salsa and was quite suprised to find Ranch dressing on it. After tasting it I was a convert. Ranch dressing is awesome on potatoes.!! |

Ranch is good on/in damned near anything! Here's a twist - regular mashed potatoes (milk, butter, salt pepper) - then add sour cream, parmesian, and a metric assload of dill. A lot of dill. They are GREAT. Got the recipe from my brother - he's a upper-class caterer. |
