If you go to google and type in the answer to life the universe and everything, the answer you get on the google calculator is 42! Maybe the movie coming out soon inspired a few google programmers or something.

I just thought it was funny as heck.

I guess you're just not nerdy enough. It's a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy thing. Which is one of the funniest books I've ever read.

I highly recommend reading it before seeing the new movie coming out.

That's the webpage that comes up when you go to "I'm Feeling Lucky", Just go to the homepage and try it, because the funny thing is part of the google calculator.

Do a Google image search for "Count Chocula" and look what one of the pictures is in the second row.

The books are great (a five part trilogy), but I cannot fathom casting Mos Def as Ford Prefect for the movie.

Hehe.  RE original post, that's funny.

I've got THG omnibus edition.  I probably read it about once a year.  I always get a kick out it when Marvin gets marooned on the planet they harvest live matresses from, Zaphods run in with the planet Frogstar and God's last message to his creation.

If you haven't read it, and enjoy either Scifi or Comedy...I can whole heartedly endore THG.  Buy the big blue Complete version.  It's got all the books plus Young Zaphod Plays it Safe.

If you like THG, also look into Dirk Gently's Hollistic Detective Agency...also by Douglas Adams.

Check it out, this is what Marvin will look like....

This is most likely the Heart of Gold...don't think they're getting far enough in the movie for it to be the Bistromath.

Doesn't like like the running shoe description from the book, but I don't mind liberties in design as long as Trillian doens't look like the blonde headed bimbo from the BBC movie.  Book description had her as brunette with an almost arabic look to her.
