| I have a 21" CRT currently and want to reclaim my desk and move to an LCD. I am looking at an ACER 19" LCD for around $310. I am a technical kinda geek, but am umfamiliar with the "response" ratings. Would 25ms be slow, average or forget it? I understand how it can lead to "ghosting", but have nothing to benchmark it to. |
| Its a little slow by current standards. My Dell, an 1800FP (two years old) has one of 30 ms I think, and I barely notice it. Lots of people throw around the term 'ghosting', but its only an early LCD generation issue. If youn have a really fast video card and play 'fast games' (like HL2), then you may notice some. If its for everyday work, like internet use, then you will NOT notice it. |
