I read a book when I was much younger about a boy who was lost in the woods. It was wintertime. He built himself a shelter, caught a rabbit and basically survived. He walks across a frozen lake and is found by a trapper. That is about all I remember about it. It was a short story and I think it became a book series.??????????? Any help would be appreciated.
