I think I heave tactical used way too much, mostly on gun related stuff. Seems everything for sale is tactical. Cars it seems to be custom is over used. Someone called my rifle custom, its not custom its got a scope rail and scope thats it, a job from KKF thats custom |
| Tsunami and Digital. I am tired of hearing those words. I am tired of hearing about the tsunami. Also I am tired of hearing everything ar digital. Digital phones, cameras, radios, next thing you will hear are digital cerial(yes that sutff you eat for breakfast). |
Digital Cereal, we could be rich... |
|
Mostly radio comercials... save / savings powerful exciting change clean opportunity different save / savings discount priced to sell comfortable blow-out skilled different / difference experiance money affordable oh yea, and ON SALE NOW What advertisers call the "power" words, words that usually have a significant meaning or are easily connected with possitive thoughts. As in "Our clean, comfortable rooms will save you money. Experiance the difference, Shilo Inns, affordable excelence." |
Shit for a second there I thought you were talking about me. I was like, "what did I do to this guy?" DIGITAL |

"Like" used in place of "uh", or just thrown in at random. "Bling" "Tonk" is not overused... if used more things would be a lot calmer around here. "Hey, let's head on down to the tonk and grab a coupla beers." "Yeah, Buddy! You're buying!" (someone edited my post and removed Tonk-- short for Honky Tonk, an adult liquid refreshment emporium, never heard this word used any other way) |

random... sigh, "Well, ya know, I like to just be random..." or "I am pretty random..." ------------------------------------- I kind of chuckle when I hear the word "integrity" bantered about by some big accounting firms. I remember 2001-2002 when that word was painfully, yet less frequently a part of the business parlance. |
You forgot "Event" when describing car sales. When did a honda year end sale become the Honda year end EVENT??? I HATE THAT |

Hero... Everybody's a freakin hero these days. I gravitate towards the definition of a hero from the World War 2 veterans. No mater if they won the CMH or a Silver Star, each one of them that I have talked to, say, they aren't a hero, the real hero's are the one's still buried over there. I was in the military for 12 years. I saved 2 peoples lives. I have never, considered myself a hero. But everybody seems to act like, just cause you serve or served, your a hero. If you serve or served, thank you and great job! But my hero's gave their lifes for us. It's even got to the point where people call you a hero, just cause you got a cat down out of a tree or helped someone carry their groceries in from the car. This does not make you a hero. A very nice and helpful person who should be appreciated, but not a hero. and Rare... Everything that's over 20 minutes old seems to be rare. A lot of used stuff is always classified as rare in the for sale ads. Especially on Ebay. Rare my butt. ![]() |
This one always got to me. My idea of an EVENT includes clowns, spotlights, a band, confetti, chearing people and lots of carnie food. NOT a quiet parking lot. |

"rush to judgement" A legacy from the OJ fiasco. "fair" or "unfair" Since when does this standard apply to every damn thing in the entire country?? "dissenfranchised" A new term to describe "dumb-shit too screwed up to obey the rules and get their act together befroe going to vote" or "senile old creaton that suddenly can't figure out how to mark a piece of paper or stick a hole in something without shitting all over it" "illegal alien" No such thing in this country anymore. "special" Every flat dick in the entire US is special. The bitter truth is that 99% of the folks in the world could drop dead (me included) and, except for some close relatives, it would have no impact on anything whatsoever. Yet, many have the self-centered belief that they are special, entitled, or more deserving than the rest. And the reason they are not treated as they should be is due to "unfairness." |
