| While I may detest her singing and am sick of seeing her I would not "sign" such a petition. She still has a right to produce whatever kind of "music" she wants. If you don't like it then don't listen. If somebody doesn't like my owning of firearms then fine, leave me alone and go about your business. Same thing with Ashley Simpson, let it play out and she'll disappear into the ether eventually. MJD |

The petition is merely an expression of our dislike of her fakeness, covered by free speech. If she wants to get up on stage in front of millions of people (getting paid well, I'm sure) and be an untalented phony, then she deserves whatever humiliation comes her way. Likewise, if you got up on stage and did a shooting demo and held a plastic gun sideways and had a target with caps blasting holes out of the center and a recording going "bang, bang", we would ridicule you as well. |
Understood. We can all express our opinions how we see fit. Eventually people will see through her act and she will vanish into musical oblivion. However, as long as she continues to make money she will continue to be a phony. If I could make millions by being a phony I surely would. How much is ridicule worth? MJD |
Why not just let her (lack of) singing stop her? I don't see how anyone could possibly buy a CD of hers. |

MEH! You guys got some ballZ, really! What do you think real tortured depressed artists grow on trees? NO. You have to wait for them to appear. So what is the music industry supposed to do in the mean time? Release Muzak records? What they do is hire Ghost writers to pump out the songs and lyrics using a time tested formula. Then they Search for a pretty face that can dance and maybe sing a little. (just a little) And Wha-la! instant pop star for the under 18 teenies. If you'd like to propose a better way to entertain the masses I'd like to hear it!................................... What? what's that you say? Search the land for budding real musicians and give them a chance to create real art? Sorry been there done that! these paople are difficult to deal with are usually drug addicts and they constantly whine about how we suits are compromising their artistic integrity, besides they demand way to much money for the music they create.
