Im asking because in this video I dont see him do the Hk slap, but he still releases the bolt.

The .40 and 10mm versions both have Bolt hold open features IIRC. The 9mm does not.

Edit: Just watched the video. Hmmm... I have never seen that either. Again, must be unique to .40s/10mms in general, or perhaps that specific one..
