You're absolutely correct. My apologies for not noticing who the sender was. It was ar-15shooter who was banned earlier for sending that exact same IM to non-team members.

Uh, I dislike your actions, and I'm pretty sure the owners of the site dislike it as well since they usually charge for advertising. I don't even see IM spamming from their paid advertisers. ETA: Bye-bye spammer , don't let the door hit you on the ass

Sorry if it annoyed you. Though put it into perspective; it took you maybe 15 seconds to open your IMs and read it. The IM didn't interfere with your ability to receive other IMs. If you were receiving hundreds of messages or scams, that would be different. It's just one friendly message. |
And if every person trying to sell something in the equipment exchange did this? I only have space for 25 IMs apparently, and while that's fine now, even with your spam, if the former happened it would be full in no time. |

If you want me to be your friend, it would be wise to first send me an IM that is friendly. If the first contact I have with a person is when they're trying to sell me something, it usually doesn't leave me with a good impression. Know what I mean? Besides, we don't want people around here that are overly "friendly", if you know what I mean. Guys being overly friendly with other guys tend to set off gaydar's. So a word to the wise.....stop the spam IM's. |
