I just got a Magellan GPS and Mapsend DirectRoute software. I have installed the software and when I click to open it, nothing happens. I have uninstalled everything and reinstalled it, but I can't get the program to run. Of coarse this is probably something simple , but fVck if I can figure it out !H E L P |
If you hit CTRL-ALT-DEL, do you see it listed in the process list? Also, what OS are you running? -d |
I have rebooted. Tech support is 9-5 and I'm not patient enough to wait till tomorrow. I did try to "run" it, stuff comes up for magellan, but not for mapsend software. It does show up in add/remove program. I don't think there is online activation, nothing in the manual about it. |
Windows XP. I don't see it in the process list, doesn't mean it's not there  .

If you click on the shortcut, and it pops up and then disappears, check the process list. Sometimes programs will load but get hung up somewhere. I'd also go into MSconfig from the run line, and turn off the stuff starting up and then try it. Check out the mfg's website too, might be some help there. -d |
