I can't believe those c***suckers at Sprint have screwed me again!! I've been saving reward points for years to get free travel. A few years ago they doubled the number of points necessary just as I was getting close. Now, I have enough for a free round trip ticket and they tell me they eliminated the travel rewards on December 31. No warning. Plus, their "Rewards Chart" still shows I am due a round trip ticket, but the customer care agent says that's out of date and they aren't bound by it. I'd switch to somebody else in a heartbeat, but they're all full of shit. |
I don't have a Sprint cell phone. They've been my long distance provider for years. What pisses me off is they still have the rewards chart on their website that promises a free flight for 150,000 points. |
| I lived in an area where Sprint was the local phone company. I had MCI as my LD cause they gave me good rates overseas. After MCI screwed up my bill three months in a row (they charged me regular rates not the low ones) I switched back to Sprint. Well Sprint screwed up and I got a call on a Sunday morning from MCI saying I owed $300. This wasn't the first time I got screwed by MCI and Sprint. after that I got a cell phone and swore I'd never deal with Spint or MCI again. Its been 4 years since that's happened and I couldn't be happier with my cellphone. |
| If they are advertising it right now and there is no disclaimer in the ad that says the offer is no longer good after December 31st, 2004, I'd call them up and raise nine barrels of hell. Sounds like false advertising to me. Copy the ad and tell them you're going to file a complaint with your state's attorney general. If they ignore you, follow through. |
| Ride this one up the chain of command. Sooner or later, you can get either what you want or at least something that will make this more palatable. Everyone has a boss, and someone high enough up in management knows you make them money--they will take care of you. Just be persistent, factual, and polite. |
