Actually, technically you are only to use it as a target, not as a way to "blow shit up".  If you were to , say, remove a stump buy blowing it to hell, that would not be considered using it as a target and you would need a special license.  If the stump happened to disappear because you laid the target on it when you shot it, that would be a whole diff story.

just how powerful is tannerite?does it just go bang and make smoke,or is it deadly?if it has the balls to remove a stump,it is powerful enough to disable a hummer.i wouldnt think it would be commercially available if it were that powerful.

I'll keep that in mind. I'd like to go to a good shoot. Shame we don't have a nat'l forest around here.

Come spring, I'll be more into high-volume shooting.

I too am interested in tannerite and have just noticed the same question popping up now and again, thought maybe with a sticky we could get a good dialogue going...
