Anyone have any info on the scout or squad M1A rifles? I've been seeing quite a few being sold lately, how come? Are they any good?

I've had mine for about 2 years.

Handy, accurate and fun as hell to shoot, it's my primary "go-to" rifle in the front of the safe.  I have mine set up with a Aimpoint and it's a true "point and click" rifle for "up close stuff" that way.  Need a (much) longer shot?  Off comes the Aimpoint in flash and you're good to go.

Best of both worlds.
