My g/f just got a new truck and it does not have a tape player ( 05 Trailblazer to be exact ) It has the navagation system / radio with xm satallite built in but no tape deck . Now she loves listening to her music from her mp3 player but can not now that it does not have a tape deck . So we decided to just make her a bunch of burt cd's well that didnt work either her cd player in the truck will not play burnt cd's so were out of ideas . Anyone here use a wireless fm modulator? I was thinking about getting her one as a christmas present but I cant find anything that I trust . Anyone here use one or recommend one? |
glad it worked good for you .... < just posting cause it was an F150 that didnt like it |

There is a device called an "Audio Bug" that plugs into the headphone jack of a MP3 or CD player. It broadcasts the audio at one of several FM freq's on the FM band. Sells for about $40. Audio Bug |

I use the monster cable one for the ipod, the reviews on it were positive and I have had fairly good results. There are many out there that do not work though. One that plugs directly into the antenna cable might help with the signal. for example www.crutchfield.com/S-XGeGaqJ4Ehp/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=42500&I=026EFM01 good luck |
Yeah I was thinking that would be the best idea but she does not want anything that has to be hard wired . The last time we ventured into hardwiring into her car stupid audio store messed up her jetta's electronic system |
No line in jack , can you believe that ! I actually dislike the truck but she loves it . |
the same unit worked ok for me in north dakota here in Milwaukee there's too much interference so it sucks the sound quality was also vastly inferior to a tape deck adaptor |
