Grant and his wife are good people. One of the things I like most about him is he doesn't put up with the erroneous info some others on here like to pass out. If anyone thinks that makes Grant a jerk, they are ignorant to what is really happening. Grant has earned my repeat business with his knowledge, willingness to help, excellent service and unbeatable prices. He has a sincere interest in getting his customers the best gear to fit their needs, even if he doesn't sell it. Sucks that this happened to them. |

I never said his service or advise was not jam up. He is rather imposing and assuming when other people are trying to discuss something he does not agree with. Even when his points are well taken, he does not leave it alone and allow people to continue with there discussion. There is something to be said for not purchasing a communist made item. More often than not is is unavoidable. The communist are not the threat currently, terrorism is. Most terrorist are from the middle east. I say we boycott oil from opec nations. After all they are the ones that slowed production because the price per barrel fell. I think that would be a more important issue that someone buying a asian made optic clone. |
This is true. If I make a comment and it is "well taken" and someone else follows up with a dumb ass statement then I will comment again (this is how an internet forum works)! Terrorism is a threat (no doubt), but they do not make knock off Aimpoint/ACOG optics. You apparently have no problem with the Chinese reverse engineering other companies optics. I DO have a problem with this and that is why you find me "imposing and assuming." Once again it is the japanese that "reverse engineered" not the Chinese, they do the labor. Tacpoint on duty, Hell Yeah!!!! If you wish to engage in another tacpoint discussion lets start it on a new thread.

I agree, I would rather have an Aimpoint. I do have it mounted in a arms M68 mount. I got each the mount from the EE for 70.00. I got the Tacpoint from the EE also for 70.00. Believe me, when finances allow I will get the Aimpoint. I got a good mount just for that reason. I never ever said that the Tacpoint was equal to an Aimpoint. I just dont think it is necessary to break everyones balls who have or are thinking about owning one. Plus, I still have irons. Deep discount, huh? How deep are we talking? I work part time at a gunshop and the owner has us pay 10% over wholesale, then we have sales tax. Usually puts it out of my range. |

+1 for Grant and Roxanne being good people. Great service, great to deal with, and great selection of cool products. And no doubt that Grant caters to people who absolutely WILL NOT bullshit around with bullshit products that may or may not work over the long, hard haul. I like a guy who isn't afraid to give me a real no shitter about products and won't compromise on quality or try to sell me some piece of shit just becuse he can make a higher margin on it. I haven't been steered wrong yet by any of Grant's recommendations. If he offends you, check your clit for sand. |

I learned along time ago that you can't let what you see on the internet base your impressions of someone. I've gotten the chance to meet Grant at several ARFCOM shoots, as well as attend a class at Blackwater with him. So not only have I had good buisness dealings with him over the years, but he is also a great guy in person too(evem of he doesn't like Wolf ammo).
