Am thinking of replacing a 30 year old RCBS Uniflow. I shoot High Power and get tired weighing every load. The Redding BR30 and Hornaday Benchrest Lock and Load and Forster(Bonanza)are all highly reccomended. Are ther any reloaders out there with an opinion on any of these measures? Boltgunner |
Check out the Harrel's at Sinclair's website. These are the shizzle. |

Stick a baffle in the Uniflow and press on - none of the other measures are any more accurate if you are using a consistent method of throwing each charge. This includes the Harrels measure. They all suffer the same weakness and throw ball or small extruded powders accurately and don't throw large extruded grains worth a hoot. The bottle adapter for a Uniflow sold by Sinclair has a cone shape to feed the powder chamber and it helps the throw uniformity a little. |

Why not weigh each charge individually? With a Lyman Auto scale. This little sucker is an automated powder measure and scale. Dump the powder in the measure, key in your charge weight... press the dispense button... Everything is done automatically... This is the shizzle, and the cost is very reasonable. It is easy to use, and seems to work great with all types of powder, ball, stick, and flake. www.midwayusa.com/rewriteaproduct/982024 |
