| Campari is an alcoholic aperitif obtained from the infusion of bitter herbs, aromatic plants and fruit in alcohol and water. I usually just drink Campari and orange juice with ice, but sometimes Campari, Cinzano Rosso (a red "wine"), and gin. Its a very Italian drink, so not so big in the US, I guess. |
| Interesting... it is actually a classic bitter aperitif... not something that the young crowd would really enjoy... I guess the bartender who said it tasted like shit must have been a total moron,he cant say that to a customer, he cant push his opinion in an establishment where the goal is to sell you a drink. Oh yeah, junker, I think you got the camparisoda mixed drink. That's never a good idea. That's one of those overpriced, overhyped premixed things. Campari and soda is a hardcore drink, sort of like drinking gin on the rocks (or vodka on the rocks, although I happen to love that). Campari and orange juice is just a classic refreshing drink. |
Of course he can. I was gonna buy a drink whether it was a gin & tonic or a Campari. I might as well enjoy the beverage, he was doing right by me. |
You brit guys ask other men to "suck it" often? When you come to america I'll buy you a whiskey...straight. SGatr15 |
