Thought this might interest some people here, especially the Enfields near the bottom... "GARAND REPARKED STRIPPED BARRELED RECEIVERS. The CMP now has a quantity of stripped barreled receivers for sale. These barreled receivers were refinished by the U.S. Army prior to transfer to the CMP. These receivers/barrels do not have any additional parts. Receiver/barrel combination may or may not be original combination. IHC, WRA, and HRA quantities are very limited and will be sold on a first come - first served basis. CMP does not expect to ever again have or offer these options. Our inventory of original finish stripped receivers (R006) is down to 400 WRA and 250 HRA. Our inventory of reparked stripped receivers (R009) is down to 14 WRA and 100 HRA. We do still have a large quantity of SA stripped receivers in both the R006 and R009 options. IHC stripped receivers are not available. Please see http://www.odcmp.com/Services/Rifles/m1garand.htm for additional information. M1917 ENFIELD RIFLES AVAILABLE. CMP once again has several hundred M1917 Enfield rifles available for sale. All of these rifles had been on loan to veterans organizations and had been returned to U.S. Army inventory. We have inspected, repaired as necessary and sorted them into several grades. There are some manufactured by Winchester and Remington, but most are Eddystone. Orders will be filled by manufacturer on a first come - first served basis. Customers should note their manufacturer preference on the order form. Once we have sold out of a particular manufacturer, we will fill orders with what is available. A small quantity of kits for converting M1911 from .45 cal to .22 cal are now available. These kits have been graded into "like new" and "used". CMP is scheduled to have tables at four gun shows over the next ten months. We plan on bringing at least 200 Garands in all grades and a small quantity of M1903 and M1903A3 rifles. We will not sell these rifles at the show, but will allow customers to reserve rifles by serial number and submit orders to CMP within 60 days of the show.
