Anyone here get shot on/off-duty or in a war? I can't even imagine the pain.

"Make sure you wear your vest, getting shot hurts."

I've read different accounts from wounded people. Sometimes it hurts like all hell, sometimes they don't even notice they've been shot.
Adrenaline is weird.

I've been shot with a paintball gun on bare skin in November, ouch!!!

I know a cop who back in the old days accidently shot himself in the leg with a .357 magnum while trying to holster his weapon, one of those old swinging holsters. He was disappointed with wound ballistics. Moved up to a .41 magnum.
