| Go to bed last night, it's raining. Wake up this morning, 4-5 inches of snow on the ground. Weather is a crazy thing and I HATE the cold. I hope it's a quick winter, but I'm not thinking it will be since it was a mild summer. Kansas City area in case you were wondering. |

Yeah, I'm in Overland Park. The lightning and thunder woke me up once but I didn't think much of it or look out the window. Guess I'm going to have to head to tractor supply today and pick up some sandbags for the pickup. |

Snow? I vaguely remember that nasty frozen form of precipatation from another life long, long ago. I have been able to turn off the AC and open the windows these last couple of days. Gets a little warm in the afternoon but the nights are great. I hated to put long pants on yesterday to go to the range but I was shooting prone and hate getting the "grass itch" on my legs. |
