I have never done either myself.

Have no desire to get a tatto, and I dont own a 5.56 AR, I know if I try to build one I will fuck it up.

Also which one can you sell, might be painful to part with AR but...

Since I'm pretty much covered up in both ARs and tattoos I'd say, in typical ARFcom fashion... Get both...!

IMO -
Tattoo = permanent reminder of temporary insanity...
AR's = good clean fun!

I'll go with the AR choice.

depends on the person

personally, i'd go w/ an AR just casue tatoos allow easier identification and less $$$ on ARs

Building ARs is the way to go.  If you ever get tired of them or need to get rid of one because you're broke, you can do it.

I have never seen any design, slogan, name or picture that I wanted engraved on my body so that I could look at it for the rest of my life.

No tattoos for me, and I can't get into AR's for some reason. But I do seem to spend an excessive amount of money on 1911's.

1 tattoo and 6 AR's  I guess this is a no-brainer......
