At this point in time, what difference does it make whether a mag is LE marked or not? Is having non marked mags insurance against a future ban?

It makes no difference, unless you live in a state that has some sort of AWB

Doesn't matter at this time, as to LEO only mags in the future, that's a question for Miss Cleo...

I wouldn't be surprised to see the LEO-only marked mags become collector's items. Not overly valuable from a monetary standpoint, but desirable to have as collectibles nevertheless.

It's the difference between being trying to explain to Barney Fife that the ban is over and despite the mag saying LEO or LAW ENFORCEMENT ONLY and not.

yep. they're perfectly legal, but your average 5 - 0 will probably pitch a fit if he sees you with one.
