That's because Joseph Campbell died and wasn't around to guide George. I'm dead serious. The simple beauty of the original stories, that thing (whatever it is) which spoke to so many of us, came from the influence of Joseph Campbell. That influence is gone and George is on his own. And I can tell. |

It's a TRAP! Somebody had to say it. From what I have heard this one blows EP 1 & 2 out of the water and supposedly it ties all the movies together. Again this is what I heard. Now as long as GL doesn't F it up should be a great movie. TheForce.net has a bunch of movie stuff for EP3. |
What?!?! I want to see Yoda own some fools... I'm looking forward to it. Like a true SW fan I have so far enjoyed all the movies. The newest ones aren't perfect but then again neither were the originals. I'm really looking forward to this one. If nothing else it will be cool to see the Jedi fall. And those brief shots from the supposedly massive space battle look awesome.... This movie should be the darkest of the whole series, I hope it lives up to most of it's potential... |

Damn, those pics look interesting...... I'm fighting the urge to watch the trailer. I'm trying to be as "unspoiled" for this movie as I can be, though I've seen the feature on the Bonus disk of the original trilogy on the sword fight scene. *sigh* now I've seen that Palpatine uses a lightsaber, so I'll be expecting that...... must..... resist..... the dark side.... |

Nice, how'd you do that? While I look up how to capture screenshots, mind getting a still of Mace from the teaser? Music sounds rather lame but the capital ship battle seems interesting. That and Samuel L. Jackson with a lightsaber. |

I want to know: Why do people bash these movies like they're high art? They're live action cartoons, people. Yes- I readily admit that Eps I and II were NOT the same quality movies as the Original Trilogy. Ep. II was **not** bad. Rushed? Yes. Horrible? No. The fact that Jar Jar only made a cameo appearance improved the movie considerably. They're all visually beautiful movies that we can all watch at any time (Ep. I a possible exception- midichlorians *shudder*) and leave our brains at the door. That's what they were back in 1977 and that's what they are today. FYI I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan- the OT movies are all in my top five favorite movies all time. In fact I give partial credit to the OT for making me want to pursue a creative path for my career (I wanted to design stuff for ILM... haven't quite made it there yet )... But don't make the mistake of thinking these movies are the science fiction version of Citizen Kane.
