I hope this isn't a dupe (I looked) but I am so sick of hearing about the inaccuracy of the exit polls. So based on very early exit polls Kerry was looking great. All day on XM radio I had to listen to the news media discuss what went wrong with the exit polls but they all pussy footed around. The most realistic statement I heard was that women tend to vote earlier than men. My theory is that bored soccer moms, college students, the unemployed, and welfare recipiants had all day to vote. Meanwhile people with jobs may have actually had to wait until after work to vote. I mean obviously there are tons of exceptions but isn't this possible? And I'm not trying to insult people in these groups, but lets face it, the above mentioned might have been more likely to vote Dem. So my question is; would demographics support this? And how chicken shit of the news media to act mystified if so. |
| Could be. I think that somebody purposely polled places that lean more towords voting democratic, this way they could show a break for kerry early, and possibly dissuade voters to come vote for bush because it would be futile. Just like they vote stacked the machines in PA they had something up their sleeve in OHIO. Good thing it did not work for them. |
| personally, I think the exit polls were purposely skewed to show Kerry with an advantage. Reason is to demoralize Republicans just like in 2000. Polls weren't even closed yet out west and several news stations were calling a Gore win...why bother voting if the other guy already won? (Hiram Ranger is the guy to ask about this...he's the poll guru!) |

Several analysts including the genius Micheal Barone believe that the Dems were slipped a list of exit polling places and then sent operatives there to pretend to vote and tell the exit pollers they voted Kerry. Nationwide they would only have to hit 40-50 exit polling places, which means around 1,000 Move-On operatives could do the whole thing. Even if a conservative doesn't share their vote, the exit pollers are instructed to write down their age, sex, and race so based on that they can guess "Bush voter" or "Kerry voter". I believe the Dems cheated and hacked the exit polls. GunLvr |
