| Just so you all know, I am seriously rocking out to some Slayer right now. I havent listened to them in probably 6 years or so. It is VERY rare that I ever come to GD, but this is so great I just wanted share!!! And no, I was never a metal head. |

i've seen them at least 4 times. they're playing in minneapolis on tuesday... i could go but i don't think i will. maybe. they're good live but they need to mix up the set list a little bit. out of the many times i've seen them they've only played one song off Diving Intervention. wtf? that was my 1st Slayer albumn, i want to hear some stuff off of it. definately a good pissed-off band to listen to when you're stressed out. especially the God Hates.. cd. |

Its a mix of songs I downloaded... I dont think I have ever bought one of their cd's/records. I listened to punk, not metal, but once and again Slayer rocks. Songs I have been really getting into is South of Heavan, War Ensamble and Seasons in the Abysss. War Ensamble in particular. Napalm Death is supposed to be playing here in Jacksonville this month. I plan to go see them. I havent seen them in over 10 years. Last time was Napalm Death and Carcass at CBGB's in NYC. Absolutely, positively the loudest show I have ever been to ever. Bar none. |

What Minor Threat song did they do? I think I have heard them do a Misfits cover, but Minor Threat was WAAAAY more the kind of punk I listen/listened too than the Misfits. I feel you with Slayer cancelling the show, I just went to go see Social Distorion a couple weeks ago and they cancelled. Boo, I havent seen them in probably 10 years either. |
