Being an adult movie actress does not carry the stigma it used to.Just like divorce or bankruptcy used to be stigmatized.now it commanplce. I would say it is actually considered fashionable these days to be a pron star in some circles. I read that one of the more popular starlet does it to get through law school.

(I guess what's more surprising is how many people will give permission to show themselves being humiliated on national TV :) ) An artice in Forbes said the annual take of the porn industry is at least $2-3 billion. |

That's probably close to the truth. In a previous life, I knew quite a few girls who had sold themselves. All were strippers at some point, and some did amateur hardcore. Usually they were lazy bitches who wanted to make an easy buck and get free blow. Some ended up OD'ing, some still hang on to the life [body going downhill quick, the clubs getting seedier and seedier, being less selective about the johns], a few got married to dudes who had NO CLUE as to their past. Funny thing is, with the high number of strip clubs around the hagerstown, md, martinsburg,wv/west virginia panhandle, the tri state are, PA<MD<WV has a high number of strippers. It is nothing to go out and meet girls that tell you they strip. So many girls (and guys if chicks liked porn like guys do) will take 200 bucks to let someone take pictures (drunk strippers will tell you anything you need to know, i know good strippers ones that slide the pole, but just that, then there are bad strippers you stay the hell away from, personally, all strippers are worthless, come on girls get some diginity, and most have a fucked up family life story as well)
Also, I am willing to bet many are from eastern europe. There is a major problem with peolple promising work in another country to these girls, and when the girl gets there, she's turned inside and out and used as a sex object. Terrible, needs to be addressed as it is a major world issue. Sure some women are into this shit, but I'd bet the majority are pressured into it by sick and evil-doers. |

Dude I SAW that, I don't think it was a playboy segment it was like extreme TV or something, and usually what they do is set them up, film it and then get them to sign release so it can be shown. I watched a candid camera show once on how they do it and that's what they do. They said that some of their funniest gags were lost cause the victim wouldn't let it be shown. |

Its not as easy as it seems. Getting it up and keeping it up as camera, lighting and sound crews are right there, and the director is giving you cues to move this way or that. I wouldn't say its as tough as getting yur ass shot off, but its not easy. Iv'e been there and done that. How many in the industry. With the pay they get and the notoriety afterwards, I'd say thousands. Especially if you consider the internet ones too. You might try asking at the AVN website. They might have an idea. BTW, yes, they do complain. |
