Dirty Harry,"A man's got to know his limitations."

Just watched this movie on TV. MAN I want a wheel gun now!
They just don't make movies like Magnum Force any more. The writer obviously knew a thing or two about guns, unlike most movies today. Also, gun porn abounds.

Two thumbs up!

The story was by John Milius.  Look a the link and you'll find out why the gun stuff is handled well.

If that's not enough, try this link as well

The N-frame S&W Model 29 44Rem mag is actually a N-frame S&W Model 57 45LC. The 0.429" ID of a 44 BBL, was not as impressive on the big screen as a 0.451" ID barrel.

My favorite line from the movie:

Harry: " . . . . nothing wrong with shooting, as long as the right person gets shot . . . . ."

What was Harry's other line............"I don't care if the whole departments queer if they can shoot like that".  Something along those lines.  I could never really accept David Soul as a good guy in Starsky and Hutch remembering him from that movie.

Best scene was where the vicious pimp (played by "Dirty Harry" series regular Albert Popwell) killed the hooker by pouring a can of drain cleaner down her throat.  Very lurid!

It's a model 25.  I've got one and it is sooooo sweet.  I love it with all of my body.  Even my pee pee.

At least I would if it hadn't gone overboard in a boating accident.
