| WTF!? Is it a doe, a spike, a four pointer, a ten pointer or a pony? Or people fucking walking through the woods. I’m 68 and I’m not cutting that dude any slack. Do you have macular degeneration or something that has jacked up your eyesight? Quit fucking hunting. Zero excuse. None. |
OK, see you later, Redcoat…

Eta Annually, total reported incidents in the state remain very low—often ranging between 0 and 6 per year—with a significant portion being self-inflicted rather than involving another person. |

What’s worse is the Asian mushroom pickers in the PNW. They are pretty much always armed and think they own the woods. They will attempt to run you off and don’t be surprised if bullets go whizzing past you. Fuck be upon anyone indiscriminately firing in the woods, people are out year around enjoying the peace nature brings. |

I guess the shock of it all kept the pain away. |

| I've been hunting since I was eight years old. Never came remotely close to shooting at a human being. You have to question the IQ of anti-hunters. It's normally pretty low. |

A relative (Guadalcanal vet) was a lifelong deer hunter. After a while, he shot from his truck as it was harder to walk. Around age 90, he shot a neighbor’s cow. Macular degeneration had caught up with him. He was a hell of a guy. Wounded in combat, fought on Guadalcanal and Luzon, came back and farmed the rest of his life. The Arisaka he brought back, his .243 BAR and the .22 mag lever action he loved are still in the family. |

Arfcom is an echo chamber, so let me break something to you guys: Not everyone who can have a gun, should. In fact there's a LOT of them that have absolutely no business being in possession of a firearm, due to stupidity, ignorance, irresponsibility, or all of the above. |

Are incredibly delicious Asian mushrooms being sought after by armed pickers who will fire at you? Or are the PNW woods full of armed mushroom pickers from Asia? |

Once might be rare, but it is also too often. |

| I know its different in many states. Here in NV, legal shooting light is 1/2 hour before sunrise to 1/2 hour after sunset, and it would be a rare day that I feel comfortable with the light at 1/2 hour after to take a shot. I looked up the chart for that area, sunset was at 7:04pm on Friday, so this was around 36 minutes after sunset, really pushing it for IDing anything at any real distance. |

The woods aren't shut down to everyone during hunting season. I make damn sure I know what I'm looking at and only take the shot if I can get a good clean kill. That means I know exactly what I'm shooting at and where. This hunting was a fucking moron! |

What are you trying to convince yourself? Hunh? Some guy said it's a statistical anomaly. I agree. By any statistic measure I can think of. Stupid shit happens. Americans need to stop caring about all the stupid shit. |

People are dumb as shit, high, drunk, etc. Plan accordingly. |

No other president’s son has a comparable public record that includes two marriages, an affair with his late brother’s widow, a child with a third woman, named relationships with women he met as dancers, plus laptop photos, videos, texts, and bank records involving many paid escorts. That does not automatically make him the all-time champion. Earlier presidential families had wayward sons whose private lives were never recorded at this scale. James Madison’s stepson John Payne Todd (raised as a son) was a notorious alcoholic, gambler, and womanizer who landed in debtor’s prison and drained the family fortune. Some 19th-century presidential sons had mistresses or illegitimate children, but the evidence is fragmentary. JFK Jr. dated many prominent women publicly; that is a different category from the volume of paid encounters documented around Hunter. So: most documented in the camera-and-bank-record era, yes. “Most ever” is not knowable. Drug abuse: Hunter is among the most severe and best-documented cases of hard-drug addiction in a president’s son. He has described buying and cooking crack, multiple partners testified he used it constantly during binges, and it featured in his gun trial and memoir. Historical comparisons are mostly alcoholism, which was common and sometimes fatal among presidential sons: https://grok.com/share/bGVnYWN5LWNvcHk_e63d56a5-b146-473c-9055-0c9742656869 |

We used to have this nasty skank ho in the deer camp I’m in. She was a legacy member as her father started the club, so it was difficult to remove her. She would go out in the woods with her Remington 742 30-06. Every time she heard a noise in the bush she would unload the rifle in the direction of the sound. Same thing if she actually saw a real deer, but she never cut a hair off anything, fortunately. |

How are we worse?
