Lots of 80s stuff on Muzak right now – Seems like everytime I sit down for a Wendy's Big Bacon burger (no mayo), it's 1986 all over again. Copyrights expired recently, maybe?

I agree that the early-to-mid-80's were great. Some of the best stuff from Rush, Queen, AC/DC, Yes, The Nuge, VH, ZZ, Devo and yes, even Missing Persons (men-tal hop-scotch) debuted during that period.





However, by the end of the decade, ya gotta admit that things were looking pretty sad – cRap music and nothing creative, interesting or even remotely musical...

A coworker of mine asked another coworker (female) what type of music she listened to.  She said country music.  1st coworker said, "like Johnny Cash".  She said, "Who?  No, country music like the Dixie Chicks."  AARRGGHH.
