What is the point is the senselessness & unnecessariness of such use of force, & in the aftermath of it, the predictable, glaring lack of accountability of government in general & police in particular being on display once again. The sociopathic, casually indifferent culture of government has outlasted tolerance levels at this point, & I'm not inclined to grant latitude or consent to such so-inclined authority. That reform is needed is an understatement. Given how repeatedly, demonstrably sloppy government agents have been revealed to be (bodycams FTW), innocent until proven guilty by government doesn't begin to encompass my perspective on government laying an accusation at anyone. They 1st have to prove to me that they aren't corrupt, or buffoons, or both. Let's see if the bodycam record of this incident gets released or is "lost". |

About that time, a friend of mine had his two friendly dogs (a pit mix and a purebread boxer) run off and cross the line out of that county. A deputy in the other country shot them on sight. Talking with the deputy, he said he did it because they were pits, not because they did anything wrong. No criminal charges for that double dog shooting. |
