It was my dad's birthday day before yesterday (okay, technically cheating), and I wear it on that day every year. He'd of been 101 this year. These Benrus DTU 2A/P cost the government $36 in 1966, when it was issued to him , and were meant to be more or less disposable. It's never been serviced, and keeps perfect time. I have the original nylon strap, which could be used as a hacksaw blade. It put those wear marks in the case back. Attached File Attached File |
