You must have missed the story about the woman that was charged with theft because a Flucked-up camera said her truck happened to be in the neighborhood where the theft occurred, at the time of the theft. In fact, she was miles away, and had proof of that (which the cops refused to look at). If used correctly, then you would have a point. Apparently, there's a back-up internal battery that records GPS position and transmits via a cellular antenna, in the event the device is separated from the pole. So, I guess they're saying that cameras that aren't destroyed are still, essentially, operational. |

It's a tool of control and the left knows this. Getting back on topic, one thing I've seen people talk about is how the ones on the black tube supports generally do not abide by state regulations on roadside signage. Some places will plant them far enough off the side of the roads, but other places will not. It might be worth filing complaints about unregulated signs with your state DOT as they definitely want to get in on the action. |

Now this makes no sense to me. Looking at the Flock camera map, it shows 16 cameras in this rural area. This is the area on Google maps I know this area, there isnt anything special there that I am aware of, a few houses and farms.  Here is the Flock camera map of the area.

Looking at images of shotspotters, the current versions look nothing like what they used to and I've been told that the black boxes, always three and equidistant around the utility pole, are for signal propagation. Definitely makes sense to try to offer a complete package instead of a specific service, especially when they've already weaseled their way into various government contracts- I still haven't seen anything saying they've actually help solve any crimes anywhere. The cops around here along with the black politicians love the things, which, given the company's history, only reinforces my belief that all public officials need to undergo random forensic audits. |

Everyone calm down - Flock released a statement yesterday saying their system isn't the problem: “Technology doesn’t create misconduct. People do,” Paige Todd, the company’s co-founder, said in the news release. “The question isn’t whether someone will attempt to misuse technology. The question is whether the technology is designed to expose that misuse and help agencies hold bad actors accountable.” Police are clearly the issue.
