Edit: Just had a similar problem the other day. You probably have a ligher buffer that was replaced with a heavy one when you had the problem. The heavy buffer slows the recoiling bolt carrier assembly to the point that it fails to travel rearward far enough to clear the rear end of the next round, thus a "bolt over" results. Were the unchambered rounds dented by the bolt? That would confirm the diagnosis. |
