Bearing in mind I have absolutely no idea what's true: French news claims the families of regime leadership are seeking French passports. Protestors are said to overwhelmingly support the return of the monarchy. Protestors raise the monarchy-era lion and sun flag
Protestors pull down and stomp "the largest in Iran" Islamic regime flag

Russia, China, or North Korea. No other country should take them. Make sure the US tells whatever country that takes them would be on our shit list. |

If there’s a country that I’d support US involvement, it would be in Iran to help the population free themselves of one of the worst regimes in the world. I knew a lot of Iranian ex-pats in college and they universally hated what’s happened to their country. Studying their history myself, I’d agree. The Shah was flawed of course but what came after has been far far worse. I think his son coupled with some Western democracies helping could really help build something great. One of the biggest mistakes Obama made (on a long fucking list) was abandoning the last Iranian uprising. So much for your “Arab spring”, douchebag. (* I understand Iranians aren’t technically Arab) |

Why would France give them passports? |

Why would France give them passports? Fellow Islamic state just rolling out the prayer rug. |

Call to prayer speakers from high atop the Eiffel Tower. |

Well we’ve been stomping on their toes seizing Russian tankers out from under their navy the past few days, so I guess we’ve set the stage for what we’re willing to do against the Russkies. I think with the ballsy moves we’ve made against Chinese and Russian interests the past week, we’re daring them to call our bluff. And I don’t think we’re bluffing. I seriously think we have decided to push a potential confrontation before our enemies feel totally prepared for the moves we know they’re wanting to make against us. Showing off our capabilities. Which are impressive. Although I truly wonder if we’re deep enough (have enough stockpiles of our precision technology and redundancy of assets where needed) to sustain a war ourselves, against adversaries who also have pretty good tech but believe quantity is a quality all its own. |
