Alright, we have two dinners tonight - a "His" and "Hers"

Seared/baked beef filet mignon with dry rub and thin sliced garlic, with home-made gnocchi in marinara.

His:
Obligatory napkin.
Fork.
Molson Canadian.
Black M9 bayonet
AR-15 with spare magazine, self-built 3-point sling, bayonet lug, and evil flash hider.
Custom, chromed .45 1911.
Spare magazine.

Hers:
Obligatory napkin.
Fork.
Bass Ale.
CRKT M16-14M.
Beretta 8000 Cougar 9mm.

I did it all, and forced GabbasauruaRex to sit out in the living room and play oblivious. She loves Italian food, and gnocchi is one of her favorites.

Why can't we just go back to the old days, where you had food, a drink, a gun, and a knife?  That way you have more interest and importance placed on the gun and food - screw the napkins, measuring devices, blah blah blah.

8.7  Points deducted for taking an excellent peice of beef filet, and using a dry rub.  Good beef needs only salt and pepper, although sometimes garlic may be added!
