And do you like it?

Just doing some looking around. They appear well made and it’s got a HUB mount so I’m digging that, too.

Thank you in advance!

I have a couple, they were GREAT for the price a few years ago and durable as a tank
Prices have gone up quite a bit though, so it's going to depend on what you're prioritizing - sound suppression, weight, flash suppression, etc

I've got one dedicated to my funky BRN-180 and it's good with .300blk subs & supers

I have a Turbo T3 (the 5.56 equivalent) and its a tank.  Not light, but I don't think I'll wear it out in my lifetime.

I have six yhm cans in various flavors. They are all decent. Their stock mounting system leaves a bit to be desired and the attachments to bring them into modern era are a quarter of the cost the can itself. All that being said, they are the best value on the market. I would buy more if I wasn't poor from buying cans.

I'd already have one on order if VA hadn't lost our gubernatorial race. It's very unlikely one will clear before we lose legal suppressors next spring.

I have one.
I run it on a 11.3" 556 mostly.
No issues.
Sounds good enough for me.
I got the .30cal because I also have a bolt action .308 and may get a AK someday.

I about 6 YHM cans. I like them. Think I have like 1x resonator and 2x resonator R2’s.

One of the reasons I went with YHM was because the value was good for the price and they had a “life time” warranty of sorts.

They do work fine. But the price has gone WAY up. And I believe what ever warranty they had is just gone (some one correct me if I’m wrong on that). Like they don’t offer any warranty now. Just poof gone.

I want to say I paid like $550 for the R1, and they are like $750 now. Or something like that.

They still have a warranty. It’s just no longer a no questions asked policy. It’s more of a don’t be a dumbass and expect them to pay for it policy.

Great info all! I saw it’s Hub compatible so if I go this route, I’ll just get a Hub mount so I can attach it to my A2 FHs.

Prices may be up compared to before, but it still looks (to my untrained eye) like a pretty dang solid deal. Maybe I’ll hold out and see if there are any Black Friday deals that pop up.

Great looking gun!

@stiglitz_actual - Is that quiet enough to shoot without earpro?

Lots of info and testing on it here to see how it stacks up against some other manufacturers.

I bought one earlier this year and had a baffle strike on the first outing with a 300 Blackout.  My fault for not checking it with an alignment rod but after I got home I checked it on several hosts and realized the problem was the can itself. Sent it back to YHM and all they did was bore it out slightly oversize.  There was zero communication from them and no note as to what they did either.  I also have a R9 but am not buying anything else from YHM.  Their mounting system sucks too.

Yes, it currently resides on my .26 Creedmoor.

It is very quiet and a pleasure to shoot.

I have not fired it on anything 30 cal.

If I’m reading this right - and there is zero guarantee I am - it’s a better-than-average suppressor…

With subs, definitely and it takes a couple mags before it gets too hot to handle
Supers are doable for a few but not hearing safe and it gets hot quick

I only have a resonator k 30 cal can so no idea. I like my can and have ran it on some 5.56/300bo rifles and I even ran it on my ruger mk4 22. It’s not a bad can for the size so I don’t have complaints on the can. But the $100 cost for more qd brakes sucks. I also have the threaded adapter so that’s what I have been using to swap between rifles that I have not been able to buy qd mounts for yet. No matter how tight I wrench it down it will work itself lose over a few hundred round with the threaded adapter though. It stays put with the qd mount of course though. I am no expert at all about suppressors so I can’t give much advice about nothing though
