Which book am I describing? On the positive side, the movie looks visually stunning. |

The Martian is about endurance, coupled with brilliance, in personal survival. Project Hail Mary is a classic hero's journey, certainly, with some macguffins, that shows that despite biological extremes, and impossible odds, friendship saves worlds. |

Completely glossing over the monumental task of building communication to a level technical enough to do complex space shit, as well as otherworldly customs and outlooks. |
