I have never forgotten that quote from an ABC afterschool special that aired back in the 70's. 1976, apparently. I don't know why that pops up in my head occasionally. It just does. The things that can stick in one's mind... Am I the only one? Thanks for stopping by to read this important public announcement |

I don't remember that one but I certainly remember when Audrey from National Lampoons European Vacation went full retard in "Welcome Home, Jellybean". It was another after school special. She plays a retarded girl that her parents brought back from the mental hospital in an attempt to reintroduce to their family life. It breaks up the family instead. The best moment is when Jellybean gets overly excited by piano music, climbs the piano like a retarded King Kong, kicks a bowl of chocolate mints off the coffee table, then dances them right into the fucking carpet. When her dad loses his shit on her, she pisses her pants in fear. This is shown. Here... Skip ahead to about 23:05. ![]() Welcome Home Jellybean Afterschool special This movie scarred me as a child, but when I rewatched it as an adult I thought it was hilarious. I recommend watching it with a couple of Old Fashioneds. Never go full retard. "DABA-DABA!!" |
