Strong men create good times. Good times breed weak men. Weak men create hard times. (You are here) Hard times breed strong men.

I mean I can glue a nugget to the back of any Poly Pistol, post it on the inerwebs and claim its a switch... If its on the Net, it has to be true. It is zero stretch to believe this is true. As someone in the field, ANY semi auto can be made full auto with enough knowhow and effort. Glocks just happen to be on the easier end of that spectrum. Hell, they made a 1903 bolt action rifle FA. |

Easy enough to make a toggling disconnector that drops down after whatever frame obstruction is interfering and still trip the sear. |

The 2A community needs to find an answer, and they can't leave Glock to get picked off outside the herd. |

If I understand the picture correctly they modified the switch, not the gun, and the switch would work on all Glocks, not just V models. |

Glock bending the knee is the major threat. People designing a new switch days after the V was released is GOOD for the 2nd amendment. It shows that gun laws do nothing Gun companies need to get together and agree to NOT bend the knee ever again. Ahem, Ruger, S&W, Springfield, Glock.... |

It seems like a transparent effort by a foreign country to fuck up our country and our response is to try to punish the gun manufacturer - who isn't without some fault here for folding like an old rusty chair at the first signs of a fight. |

I'm not sure you understand the legal landscape here. The states attacking Glock have zero risk, unlimited funds, and a near guarantee of winning their cases in lower level courts. Companies like Glock are facing an existential threat, they have limited resources, they have a near guarantee of losing their cases in lower courts, and they'll be betting their lives on higher level courts that might not even listen to the cases, much less decide in their favor. This avenue of attack is a big f'ing problem. |

Now, Glock may respond with some REALLY stupid mods like no removable back-plate or some other shit that goes further away from perfection. I love Glock but have zero interest in a F/A switch. I also dont want ghetto goblins all carrying "Glock 18's" because knowing how fucked up the world is, Glocks will get banned before the goblins. |

Oh, I'm sure they will stop at Glock and won't go after SIG, Ruger, Colt, etc. ![]() Once they fuck over Glock and run them out of the civilian market, they will then eagerly attack the #2. Then all semi-auto's because "nature always finds a way"... |

@FrostBack Can you post videos of gangsters bragging about their switches while exhibiting gun safety, please? We need to remember the impressionable youth. Also, pics of your Mopars please

A Glock distributor jumped the gun and sold Gen VI's to dealers around 10 days ago. There were some available at the Indy 1500 gun show last weekend. |

I don't think they had any kind of firm release date. Davidson's had them in that time frame and Zanders has them readily available now. My suspicion is that lots of dealers are sitting on lots of gen5 inventory and the V is virtually no better so they should be available for the forseeable future. |

My local FFL had nothing but slimline guns and old G22s in the Glock section last time I was there. One of his distributors allocated him 2 G47s, and he was still waiting for those last time I was there. Everything else was gone and unavailable. |
