In my previous state, our local county sent a copy of their budget and they were spending upwards of 35K per student on kids who spoke random languages that they didn't have anyone to teach. They had a car service to pick those kids up, take them to a special school, and handhold them all day every day in their native language. Those kids public school cost was more than any of the private schools. Now multiply that by millions of kids.... Not a shock that we can't afford schools. |

So what happened? The local school board jacked up our taxes 150%. People are fucking livid! The local school board shouldn’t have property taxing authority. *Our school system isn’t good, it’s ranked 50th out of 70-something. The county nextdoor is in the top-10, guess where parents are moving? |

According to Google AI...
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) receives approximately $15,997 per student in total expenditures, with the 2021-2022 fiscal year revenue totaling $13,266 per student. The funding is a mix of state, local, and federal sources: $7,034 from the state, $3,190 from local sources, and $1,557 from federal sources per student. $15,997 x 21,000 students = $335,937,000 |

When my sisters kids were approaching school age they visited the public school in their area. They lived in north Atlanta at the time in a predominantly affluent area interspersed with some apartment complexes. There were so many Hispanic kids that didn't speak English at the school they had separate classes where they were taught in Spanish, the other non-Hispanic kids were playing second fiddle to the invaders. They decided to send their kids to private school, I'm glad they did as they got a much better education than their cousins that attended public school. |

I had the occasion to walk through several elementary and middle schools in Phoenix 25-30 years ago. It looked straight out of Mel Gibson’s Apocalypto movie. If it’s this bad in places like NC, VA, OH … far removed from the border states, we’ve been lied to for the past 50 years, and nobody cares. 40 million illegals is such a generation drain on what was the USA. And the demographic curve looks awful. |

But hey, cheap lawn service! My wife left the teaching profession because of those issues. She last taught 10th grade biology and had kids in her class that did not speak English. All that plus school administrators that essentially said it’s her problem to deal with. |

The illegals would try and steal the lawn equipment off their truck to start up their own lawn services. |

All that plus school administrators that essentially said it’s her problem to deal with. That's how they roll these days: blame the teachers and ignore the problems. I got a job at an alternative/online school. It's boring as fuck, but at least I don't have to deal with that shit anymore. With half the kids being "special ed" now, a fifth of them being autistic, a good portion not being able to speak English, and most behavior issues being ignored, it's an uphill struggle to educate kids these days. Also, I can shitpost on Arfcom while I'm at work now. |
The hardest thing to explain is the glaringly evident which everybody has decided not to see.

In the 1990s a report came out that the Sam Francisco school students spoke 93 languages at home. Imagine the cost |
