yet you reap the benifits

I'm a novice techno geek. I still own several commodores: Vic 20, C64, C128, and an old Packard-bell 386.

Ive hardwired my sons etch-a-sketch to the phone line, thats how I dont use a computer and I can be here. When I need to restart the computer, I just turn it over and shake it. Dont ask me how I know these things, its purely trial and error.

I have a friend like you, he is an engineer and is on computers all day so he doesn't want one at home. He says he can access everything he needs at work.

I own a few computers, all PCs of one type or another.  I've never paid for one, they're all surplus or frankenstein machines cobbled together from whatever work throws out.  Most of my arfcommin is done with my work issued laptop though, a Mac G4 iBook.  I've never bought a computer though, and unless I suddenly need more computing power than a 500mhz held together with wire ties and electrical tape, I won't.

Ok, I don't want to make fun of my mother-in-law, but it is pertinent to your topic.  She is afraid of microwaves so my wife never had one until she went off to college.  Her mother thinks that there may be some 'radiation' leaking from it.  She also believes that the TV remote control is dangerous if you point it at someone and try and change the channel.  Again, radiation.  She's a very nice lady and intelligent, but she was older when she had my wife and grew up in a different era.

Do you own a microwave?  If not, how do you warm up food?  Do you own a red dot sight?

Why, telepathy, of course. (I can also levitate pencils and cause people to spontaneously combust, but then I get a headache and have to lie down for a while afterwards... )
